T.R.R. Ice Derby
ONLY ONE ANGLER PER ENTRY ALLOWED TO SIGN UP!
This is a single entry event.
YOU ARE NOT A TEAM, FISH ARE WEIGHED IN PER INDIVIDUAL.
Anglers can pair up with another entrant to fish together with only 2 people with in 50 feet of another angler(s).
Anglers must remain with in 20 feet of rods.
Anglers fishing together CAN NOT combine fish, as in, give biggest fish of any species to another angler to win any category.
ROD and REEL only. No spears, tip ups, jaw jackers or automatic fishing devices.
Boundaries are from the dam to the outlet.
Trophy fish are allowed to be weighed and released during fishing hours. Fish will go on your card and count toward the daily total weight.
There will be 4 categories:
10 Perch per day
5 Crappie per day
3 Walleye per day
2 Northern Pike per day
Weight of 2 day totals will constitute winners. (PER SPECIES)
Limited to the first 29 to sign up. There will be a witing list for cancellation purposes.
First light (7-7:30 am) to 2 pm are derby hours. Morning hours will be established Friday Jan. 1, 2020 at the captains meeting.
NO CULLING in weigh in line. NO exceptions.
ONLY 1 fish at the anglers discretion will be weighed in during weigh in times, for BIG fish. Fish Hard will NOT weigh in each individual fish for BIG fish.
ALL anglers must be present at the captains meeting Friday evening.
Captains meeting and weigh ins will be held in the state park by the marina.
ALL state and federal laws will be enforced.
Live bait is allowed, as allowed by state requirments. Please check regulations as T.R.R. has special laws on minnow use.
NO frozen fish.
Fish can be kept over tournament requirments, within daily and possesion limits.
Do not cull in weigh in line, extra caught fish will need to be hole punched by tournament staff before the angler leaves weigh ins on Saturday.
ALLOWABLE FISHING HOURS AFTER THE EVENT.
From the end of the captains meeting until 5 am on Saturday and from the end of weigh ins on Satuday till 5 am Sunday morning, anglers are allowed to recreational fish.
DO NOT put tip ups, rods, etc out until you have been released from capatins meeting/weigh ins.
After 5am any and all rods, tip ups, spearing, etc... will have to be pulled no exceptions.
If a fish is caught after hours, and kept, the angler MUST check the fish in BEFORE the days take off (630 am). A hole will be punched in a fin.
Please be sure to check the fish in and not result in a disqulaification.
Please be sure to have all lines, etc... out of the water no later then 5 am to not be disqualified.
Tournament staff have the right to enter, look around, or inspect fishing areas.
Tournament directors have the right to refuse any application at anytime.
Unsportsmen like conduct will result in an immediate DQ.
ALL disputes must be in writing and turned no later then 3pm on either derby day. A $100 dollar fee will be charged and only refunded if the dispute is ruled in the disoutors favor.
By signing up, the angler releases the following rights:
Release of Liability: We, in consideration of being permitted to participate in Fish Hard Industries Tournaments for ourselves, our heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, hereby release and forever discharge Fish Hard Nation, Fish Hard Industries, or , tournament sponsors and any and all sponsoring companies, entities and individuals, from any claim, demand, action or right of action arising from or by reason any bodily or personal injury, death or property damage resulting from any accident, pandemics, covid-19 or any other illness that is beyond our control, which may occur as a result of participation in any Fish Hard Industries Tournaments. We further release all officials, staff, sponsoring companies from any claim whatsoever on account of first aid treatment or service rendered us during our participation in any Fish Hard Industries Tournaments.
